Since 1988 onwards, he has worked at the levels of DGM/GM/VP/Director in the Corporate Sector (both Public and Private Sectors/MNC) and at the levels of Dy. Secretary/Director/ Joint Secretary in the Government of India, with the privilege and distinction of having a varied and a unique blend of multi-disciplinary and multi faceted experience and exposure at senior/top management levels, in various strategically important economic/infrastructure related Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India;  Key Public Sector Enterprises including the largest Fortune 500 PSE in India i.e. ONGC; one of India’s largest Private Sector Group i.e. TATA’s,  and one of the most profitable companies  of India  i.e. TCS the World’s largest IT multinational,  i.e. Hewlett-Packard with revenues close to $130 billion  and was until recently associated with the $42 billion Fortune 500 ICT giant i.e Huawei Telecommunications with a presence in more than 140 countries, serving more than one-third of the world’s population.

Associated, since July, 2013,  with China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (A Subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation with revenues of over $ 360 Billion & total employee strength of over 16Lacs), which is the only transnational company in china that specializes in engineering prospecting consulting design, procurement,construction and management of long transport pipeline, auxiliary facilities, medium and large storage tank,electric power and communications & is involved in the construction pipeline and auxiliary facilities in Kuwait, Kenya, Myanmar,  USSR, Tunis, Sudan, Libya, Iraq, Malaysia,Kazakhstan, Mozambique & China. Presently, the pipeline construction assets of the CPP has already reached RMB 1.3 billion yuan. 

As the Director General of the CCCI, he assists in facilitating economic cooperation between the Chinese and the Indian companies aimed at providing a business hub in close coordination with the Govt. organisations of the two Countries including the Ministry of Trade & Commerce and the apex chambers of Commerce and Industry in India and China.  The focus is to facilitate & assist India and China, in attaining the trade target of $ 100 billion by 2015.
